Corrections Forum Magazine Details the Impact of WebRTC Technology by Compunetix

Prison Communications by Compunetix

Corrections Forum Magazine has recently reviewed the technology provided by Compunetix called Companion Suite. Utilizing WebRTC (real time communication) technology, Companion Suite can be used with a standard web browser such as Chrome or Mozilla which revolutionizes prison visits by enabling loved ones with physical or financial difficulty to visit with the inmate from their cell phone, tablet or home computer. Donna Collins, Senior Account Manager at Compunetix, points out that virtual visitation can be used for connecting inmates with family, therapists, lawyers and priests. In addition to added convenience, other benefits include improved client/attorney communications, travel time and cost savings and greater security within, and outside, the facility.
