Compunetix is promoting Engineers Week 2020 through a series of open Lunch and Learn sessions where aspects of cybersecurity will be presented and discussed. The week will kick off with a session featuring our security partner Ethical Intruder. The session will provide a high-level view of security controls and why they are important. Then, internal engineers will dive into certification programs such as FedRAMP, JITC and NIAP.
On Tuesday, security engineers will provide an overview of the work the Federal Systems Division’s (FSD) has done with the NIST SP 800-53 security controls and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). The presentation will conclude with an introduction to Commercial Solutions for Classified and SOC Reports for Data centers.
Wednesday continues our security theme with sessions covering the Video Systems Division (VSD) experiences with WebRTC and what it takes to implement, as well as the work needed to meet HIPAA Security Rule and FIPS140-2 encryption for the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC.) We will close out with a look at Code signing and Secure Boot as required controls for software integrity.
Thursday will close out the Lunch and Learn sessions with an overview about the Communication Systems Divisions (CSD) work with WebRTC and a dive into AS-SIP and how that relates to system JITC certification. We will wrap up with how these topics relate to the FedRAMP, JITC and NIAP programs.
